Job Description

Quality Assurance is the framework that ensures that the development and manufacture of products such as pharmaceutical, agrochemical and medical devices are performed in compliance with regulatory requirements. This is achieved through the development, implementation and continual improvement of systems. Independent assessment provides feedback on the robustness of such a system.

As a Gore Quality Assurance intern, you will own a project that can be wrapped up before you leave. It will call on your technical skills and will be a technical challenge. You will be encouraged to network and build relationships across functions and plants, as well as with other interns. We will provide you with some organized social and networking opportunities throughout the summer to help you get connected to other interns and Gore associates. We are looking for students to support a variety of quality assurance projects at our Flagstaff, AZ and Phoenix, AZ facilities this summer.

At Gore, we believe in you as an individual. We value your know-how and ideas. Our goal is to create a positive, respectful workplace in which everyone is treated fairly.

If you are searching for a company where you can learn, contribute, and make a difference, we're looking for you.

Intern projects can span our various quality system oriented disciplines, including:

  • Process Development and Implementation
  • Development and Implementation of Supporting IT Infrastructure
  • Process Metrics Development and Implementation
  • Process Improvements
  • Quality Assurance Support of Medical Device Manufacturing Operations
  • Global Regulatory Compliance
  • Environmental Monitoring and Control

You will have an opportunity to work with and learn business, divisional, and functional competencies. You will interact extensively with manufacturing, engineering, and business teams to drive Quality Assurance projects. You will also be introduced to the core values and unique culture that Gore embodies while working in a team-oriented environment.
