GRAND CANYON ASSOCIATION SUMMER PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERNSHIP
Be a part of the planning for the 2019 Centennial celebration of Grand Canyon National Park! You will write, plan and post on social media, assist with events, and work with the media and community to promote Grand Canyon Association, the nonprofit partner of Grand Canyon National Park. The position is located in Flagstaff, but there may be opportunities to participate in events at the South Rim.
Earn credits in Strategic Communication for first summer session, second summer session--or both. 10 hours a week = three credits.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience writing for social media
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Design background helpful
Additional Details
Applications will be accepted through March 30, 2018 and the position filled by April 27. Duties will begin in early June and end in early August, depending on availability of the selected candidate.
