NAHF Special Events Summer Internship
Take advantage of building your resume and gaining invaluable experience in special events raising funds for beneficiaries within a non-profit healthcare organization in Northern Arizona.
Events include golf tournaments, bike rides, walks, runs, conferences and galas benefiting the Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona, Heart and Vascular Center of Northern Arizona, Valley View Care,
Children’s Health Center, FMC’s Taylor House and other areas of greatest need.
Responsibilities:
Solicit donations from local/national businesses
Draft correspondence including thank you letters and donation ask letters
Data entry in Raiser’s Edge database
Assist with mailings, filing and administrative support for special events
Assist with planning and organizing special events
Day of Special Event assistance required
Front desk assistance
Qualifications:
Must be proactive, self-directed, detail-oriented and organized
Must possess strong inter-personal skills and excellent phone skills
Must possess capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Excellent verbal and written skills
Microsoft Office skills are required, mail merge and Excel
10-20 hours per week, weekdays Mon-Fri between 8am-5pm and event weekends.
$500- $1000 stipend per semester paid in two payments or at completion of internship.
